Hi there! I’m Melanie and Welcome to the Home Improvement Era Blog! I’m glad you stopped by!

After working for a food blogger for the past five years, I decided to take what I’ve learned about blogging and my passion for home improvement and take the leap. Voila! Home Improvement Era was born! This blog is full of helpful tips, info, and inspiration for the babe entering their Home Improvement Era (I know we all have one) or for the bestie eternally stuck in their Home Improvement Era like me.

Currently, I am wrapping up flipping my second house and learning more every day. When not working on my home, I’m a content creator, wife, mom to a sweet and wild one year old boy, and fur mom to two big mutts. We live in the beautiful pacific northwest and of course, take part in the awesome outdoor recreation the area has to offer whenever we can!
